Service Cliche'

I hear a lot of service companies talk about how they deliver great, unrivaled service and support . Heck i say that about  SRA  . "We offer Great service" has now become a cliche' that very few people will believe . Why is that ?

well for a start everybody thinks they are getting it right , and nobody stops and asks the customer the direct question "do i give good service" . The second point is that consumers are so used to accepting bad service as the norm that they just dont do anything about it.

I could tell you all sorts of ways i think my company is doing it better.. BORING!! instead let me talk about what is bad service (and let us assume the oppsite is great service)

1. number one in bad service is BAD COMMUNICATION. this is a very broad subject but lets just concentrate around the telephone. if i leave a message and say call me back ....well PLEASE CALL ME BACK .. now that is not too hard is it

2. Professionalism - i hate it when i go somewhere to get a technical job done and the smart qualified person doesn't explain things to me , or talks over my head.

3. Trust - there is 2 things i want to trust [A] that i am not being overcharged or ripped off and [B] if something goes wrong i get a real warranty!

YES i am proud to say that we do it Right.
