New Industry Licence. The national licensing system came in to full effect on 1 July 2005. Under the new regulatory system, any person who handles refrigerant gases where there is a risk of emission (either ozone depleting substances or synthetic greenhouse gases) is required to hold a national refrigerant handling licence. These gases include refrigerants such as R12, R22, R134a and R410a. This is a big step forward in the refrigeration industry and some see it as a first step to a truely regulated and corectly managed industry. What does it mean to consumers of refrigeration services ? This is great news, no wteh consumer can ask to see the qualifications of the people doing the work , the letter that is attached to the card sugests that the tradesperson carry this card whilst in the workplace. All refrigeration fitters at SRA Commercial Refrigeration. will carry their cards , and will be happy to show you if you would like to see it . SRA fully supports the actions of teh ARC and recognises the befits for the refrigeration Industry. |
