What is an verbal estimate?

An estimate will provide you with an approximation of the cost of repairs. Unlike a quote, the price contained in an estimate is not fixed and the final price may be more or less than the estimated price, depending on the circumstances. it would be safe to say that our estimates are within 20% so an estimate of $100 could be $80-120

Also known as a "verbal estimate" , "rough price" or "ball park price"

A verbal estimate is usually provided to a customer on the spot , it is instant and usually based on general assumptions the price will alter due to the cost and availability of the parts , and the exact amount of time the job will take.

In most cases a verbal quote is the quickest and best way to move forward with a repair. it is often the cheaper than a formal written quote because we already have a tools out and are ready to work , if we do a formal quote we charge you for diagnosing the fault (one service call) and then we quote you for a return visit to repair because this involves more labour the price is usually high.
